Year 13 Leavers’ Day – the dawn of a new life
Year 13 Leavers’ Day is always a day of mixed emotions when we say goodbye to our A Level students, and this year was no exception. The current Year 13s have been a truly wonderful year group, and all staff shall miss enormously their cheering presence; we shall, however, also look forward to hearing of their amazing achievements in the weeks, months and years to come – they will make their mark on the world.
The Leaving celebrations commenced with a Final Assembly, where students were guided through the highlights of their educational journey, pausing occasionally to dwell on what the future might hold for them, as indicated through the mystical powers of astrology. The students continued the celebrations by feasting at the Leavers’ BBQ. Many staff and tutors were able to join the students, swapping memories from the past seven years, sharing in a fitting celebration of this Independence Day for a well-loved set of students.
We wish all the Sixth Form students leaving every success in their exams and into the future. Remember, you are always welcome to visit.
