This specification introduces you to key concepts and a body of knowledge that will provide you with an invaluable and thoughtful perspective on contemporary issues in Health and Social Care. It equips you with the skills needed for Higher Education and the world of work.
You will be studying this as a one-year full-time course with 10 hours of teaching time per week alongside 1 day per week of Work Experience, as well as dedicated Private Study time. This enables you to gain useful experience in the working environment whilst earning a nationally recognised qualification.

The AAQ is equivalent to one A Level. Students will complete 6 units, 2 of which are examined externally, and the other 4 are internally assessed.
