Sixth Form Open Evening 2017
On 28 September the Sixth Form opened its doors and welcomed a large number of prospective students from Sheringham and a wide variety of other schools, including Alderman Peel, Aylsham, Cromer and North Walsham for our highly successful, annual Sixth Form Open Evening.
Armed with a copy of our new look prospectus, the Year 11s found out more about Sixth Form life at Sheringham from the Director of Sixth Form, Mr Keshavarz, and two Year 13 students, George Padolsey and Rebecca Welsh. They then had a wonderful opportunity to explore the 23 subjects available in our very small classes; discussing the different subjects with staff as well as current Sixth Formers, and sampling some of the delicious cakes obtainable in the Canopy.
We look forward to many students taking up our offer of an A Level Taster Day on 9 November, with a Level 2 Taster Day to follow. We also look forward to receiving a huge number of applications, leading to the plenty of students enrolling in September.
If you would like further details of what happens in the Sixth Form, and what makes our Sixth Form different, please contact Mr Keshavarz. If you want to experience a Sixth Form lesson in addition to the Taster Day, please see Mr Keshavarz or one of your main school teachers.
Good luck with your GCSEs, and see you soon.Posted on: 6th October 2017
