Biology Olympiad Success for Year 12
Four Year 12 Biology students took part in the 2017 Biology Olympiad organised by the Royal Society of Biology. This international competition involved over 5400 other students around the globe. They had to complete an online test assessing their knowledge of various aspects of Biology and all four were in the top 44% of students who took part globally. Chloe Reid achieved a high commendation, with Ben Candlish and Laura Askew both achieving Bronze awards (putting them in the top 30% of students who took part). Special congratulations also to Isobel Bedford who achieved a Silver award, putting her in the top 16.4% of all those who entered.
This is an excellent result for all four who took part and very well done to each of them!Posted on: 30th June 2017
