Money for a Good Cause

Whilst the rest of the school strove to break records and win everlasting glory on track and field during a sizzling Sports Day, the Sixth Form rose magnificently to the twin challenges of having to raise as much money as possible for the RNLI whilst providing sufficient refreshments for the school.

Divided into two teams, the Year 12 students competed and collaborated, formed business plans, bought stock and finally flogged the lot. Between them they raised £156.42, which added to the money from the sporting matches against staff earlier in the week, totalled a wonderful £266.89 for the RNLI. Well done to everyone involved.
